Press Release 01 October 2004 Continuous Improvement at Plus Pack A/S In Spring 2004 Anpro received an award from Danish Industry’s Management Council for a project undertaken at Packaging Manufacturer Plus Pack in Odense, Denmark. This recognition was based upon a productivity programme which had improved productivity by 35% in just 7 months. Naturally everyone involved was proud of this achievement - however the acid test for Anpro and their clients is sustainability. Results since the end of the programme speak for themselves:
“20% of the potential for improvement is in specific, concrete changes. The remaining 80% of the potential is in the hearts and minds of our people,” says Steen Haustrup, Plus Pack’s Managing Director Plus Pack. “Today Plus Pack has become a totally new company, yet has done so while retaining the good things from the past. Our work with Anpro resulted in a shared view of our vision, goals and challenges - shared between management and workers. We no longer talk about opportunities for improvement - we just set our goals together and achieve them. I am absolutely convinced that this positive trend will be sustained in the years ahead.” The ANPRO consulting group established in 1988 operates primarily in the UK and Northern Europe, with subsidiaries in the UK, Sweden and Denmark. ANPRO helps clients with effective strategy implementation and has implemented more than 250 efficiency and organisational development programmes. ANPRO has worked with well-known and diverse organisations such as IKEA, Coca Cola, Ericsson and Arla, as well as a wide range of successful medium-sized businesses. |
